Brussel Sprout Salad Ingredients

Here’s what you’ll need for a hearty, flavorful salad:

Veggies & Fruits

Shaved Brussels Sprouts: You can buy pre-shredded sprouts at many grocery stores or shave fresh sprouts using a food processor or a sharp knife.

Apple: Any crisp apple works; Honeycrisp adds a nice sweetness and crunch.

Dried Apricots: Chop into small pieces so the apricot flavor is evenly distributed.

Dried Cranberries: Swap raisins if you prefer.

Nuts & Seeds

Sunflower Seeds: Use shelled seeds for convenience and extra crunch.

Candied Walnuts: You can make these at home by tossing walnuts with a touch of maple syrup and a pinch of sea salt, then baking until golden and slightly crisp.

Bake candied walnuts at 400°F for about 10 minutes, stirring halfway through; then let them cool before adding to the salad.

Dressing & Finishing Cheese

Homemade Balsamic Vinaigrette: A simple balsamic vinaigrette ties the salad together. Use your favorite recipe or a quality store-bought dressing if short on time.

Crumbled Goat Cheese: Adds a creamy, tangy finish—omit if you prefer dairy-free.
