Banana-Graham Butterfly Ingredients

- 2 graham cracker squares
- 2 chocolate chips for the eyes (or small fruit pieces)

Time needed: 5 minutes
How to Make Banana-Graham Butterfly Snacks
-
Prepare the banana
Peel the banana and carefully cut a small slit into each side where the wings will sit. Use the tip of a knife or spoon to scoop out a little fruit from each slit so the graham crackers will slide in more easily. Set the banana aside briefly.
-
Prepare the wings
Spread a thin layer of peanut butter on each graham cracker square. Arrange your chosen toppings—fruit slices, nuts, chocolate or dried fruit—on the peanut butter to decorate the wings.
-
Attach wings to the banana
Gently press each decorated cracker into the slits you made on either side of the banana so they form wings.
-
Add eyes and antennae
Use a small dab of peanut butter to stick two chocolate chips or small fruit pieces on the banana for eyes. Insert toothpicks, straws, or coffee stir sticks into the top of the banana to create antennae.
