Ingredients
- 2 cans diced tomatoes one drained, 14 oz.
- 2 jalapenos seeded, quartered
- 1/4 c diced yellow onion
- 1/2 c diced green bell pepper
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1/4 c fresh cilantro
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon sugar
- 1 tablespoon lemon or lime juice
Instructions

Place tomatoes, jalapenos, onion, bell pepper, garlic, and cilantro in a food processor. Pulse 5 to 6 times until you reach the desired consistency.

Add cumin, garlic salt, black pepper, sugar, and lime or lemon juice. Pulse 1–2 more times to combine. Taste and adjust seasoning or heat as needed.

Chill in the refrigerator for about 1 hour to let the flavors meld.
